The Community Sports Foundation – Takeover Day 2026

On Saturday 21st February 2026, Norwich City Football Club featured The Community Sports Foundation on the front of the first team home shirts for a special takeover day.

The Foundation’s logo was proudly displayed on front-of-shirt as part of their takeover day of the Sky Bet Championship fixture against Birmingham City, ensuring that the 26,000+ people packed inside the stadium gained a better understanding of the organisation’s purpose and the impact it has throughout Norfolk and the local community.

The Foundation uses the power of sport to create positive change across Norfolk and Suffolk. In 2025, they engaged with over 56,000 unique participants through their work that includes supporting people facing disability, disadvantage, loneliness, health challenges and those needing extra opportunities to thrive.

We also wanted to shine a light on the tireless efforts of local hero Jacob Bowles and On The Stall City, who help raise funds to support The Community Sports Foundation. These are the kinds of initiatives that genuinely change lives and strengthen our local community, and we’re honoured to play our part in supporting causes that mean so much to so many people.

In total, the Foundation Takeover Day raised upwards of £100,000 – a truly remarkable sum. The special one-off bespoke home shirts will be auctioned through the club’s official partnership with MatchWornShirts, with all profits going directly towards supporting the Foundation’s disability and SEND programme Realising Potential, as well as other vital areas of their charitable work.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped raise funds or made donations towards the Community Sports Foundations. Also, a massive thank you to Norwich City Football Club and their partners who helped make the takeover day a huge success.
